About

My final college assignment was a Flash animation. I drew a stick man and made him fly around or something. I remember there was violence. I haven’t used Flash since college, but I have drawn a lot of stick people shouting things at each other.

Fake interview (real answers):

How long have you been making comics?

L: Oh, since college, I guess. It mostly started as way for me to process all the snobbery I ran into there.

Huh, interesting. What else do you do with your time?

L: A lot of music. I like people. I like movies. I try to read books, with some success. I love playing indoor soccer. I’m a parkour guy.

What’s your favorite movie?

L: The Incredibles.

Favorite book?

L: Gosh, I don’t know. I just picked up “What I’d Say to Martians” by Jack Handey; it’s making me laugh pretty darn hard.

Favorite person?

L: My little brother. Both my brothers, really.

What’s wrong with the world today?

L: Guys who think the new life they bring into the world will do fine without a dad.

What’s right with the world today?

L: My brothers. Star Wars.

Favorite rapper?

L: I’d have to go with Eminem.

Want to give us an in-depth breakdown of how neat your creative process is?

L: Naw. Thanks, though.

Any advice to fellow creatives?

L: What Michael Giacchino said in his Oscar acceptance speech - what you’re doing isn’t a waste of time.
